Hukin & Heath Spoon Pendant — Birmingham, 1935
This pendant began life as a 1935 Hukin & Heath sterling silver coffee spoon, hand-shaped to retain both the hallmark line and a portion of the stem. The added O-ring connection at the top gives it a fluid, contemporary feel while respecting its Art Deco origins.
The back bears all four British hallmarks — lion passant, anchor, date letter “L” (1935), and maker’s mark H&H — struck deeply and clearly preserved. Its form is elegant and deliberate: a small architectural object that sits comfortably against the skin.
