Who we are

History You Can Wear

Sterling Legacy was born from a love of antique silver - not as forgotten relics, but as living artefacts.

I rescue unique pieces of antique and vintage silver - damaged manicure sets, crushed purses, broken scissors, pocket watch cases and beyond, I carefully research, preserve, and reimagine them into one-of-a-kind jewellery. Instead of being melted down or lost to time, these fragments of history are given a new life.

Why Silver Matters

Sterling silver has always carried meaning. Its hallmarks, maker’s marks, and craft traditions are not just decoration; they are a record of trust, skill, and identity. To wear silver is to carry that history forward - a tangible link between centuries past and the present moment.

At Sterling Legacy, every piece I create is anchored in that belief: jewellery should not only be beautiful, it should tell a story.

What Makes Sterling Legacy Different

  • Research First: Every piece is studied for its hallmarks, maker, and original context. When you buy from me, you also receive its story.

  • Craft with Respect: My reimagined designs preserve the integrity of the original silver - whether it’s an engraved monogram, a hand-made link, or a mark of wear that speaks of time.

  • Heirlooms for the Future: I don’t “upcycle” or strip history away. I save silver from being lost, turning it into jewellery that is as durable as it is meaningful.

A Personal Mission

For me, silver is not just material. It is memory, craft, and culture - a thread that connects us to those who came before. Creating jewellery from antique silver is not just an artistic practice; it is a way of keeping those stories alive in forms that can be worn, cherished, and passed down. And not fall in to the trap of the past, to simply melt down loosing the effort and history each piece holds.

That’s what Sterling Legacy is about: giving the past a present, and creating treasures that endure into the future..

About The Maker

My love of silver has always been rooted in stories. From childhood, when my parents’ appreciation for it first caught my imagination, I’ve been fascinated by the way silver can carry memory, beauty, and craft all at once.

I grew up around jewellery counters, pawnbrokers, and antique dealers, where I discovered something I couldn’t let go of: how easily precious objects are lost to the melting pot. Rising scrap prices meant that damaged purses, broken chains, and watch cases — each with centuries of effort and artistry behind them - were being destroyed for their weight alone.

It struck me that silver deserved better.

Sterling Legacy grew from that conviction. Instead of letting antique and vintage silver vanish, I research, rescue, and reimagine it. I work with fragments that others might discard, preserving their hallmarks and history, and creating one-of-a-kind pieces that honour where they’ve come from while making them wearable today.

For me, this is not recycling. It’s not about trends or fashion. It’s about care, connection, and giving silver a second life. Every piece is both jewellery and story - a reminder that beauty and history are worth saving, and that what has been loved before can be loved again.
